DESIGN METHOD

Kitchen

The kitchen is often referred to as the heart of the home because it is where families are brought together to enjoy home cooked meals and connect.  A kitchen layout and design must be properly laid out, so that it serves purpose for cooking or baking for large family events, yet also is appealing as you walk in a room.  The kitchen should be the picture of beauty meeting function.

Living Room

The living room is a place to relax, to host and to unwind after a long day.  The layout of a living room should be designed in such a way that there is optimal natural light with artificial lighting to accompany in oder to showcase particular features of the living room.

Bathroom

The bathroom is a place to unwind and relax. The best way to create that atmosphere is the colour and the all-around ambiance of the room. It is also important to allow for storage space and to use the space in the most efficient way possible.

Bedroom

The proper lighting in a room can bring elegance and really add the finishing touches to a space — especially a bedroom. That being said,  it is important that electricity travels to all fixtures and devices safely so it does not pose a safety hazard.  A complete understanding of current electrical codes and practices are must to ensure a safe and bright household.

Laundry

Having access to laundry within a house or apartment unit can make all the difference in the world. Access to laundry within a unit or on location can often be the determining factor when tenants are making the decision where to lease. In order to provide the optimal experience for tenants, you need to provide a clean location with space to fold and organize clothing.

Storage

Storage is often a feature that is forgotten when laying out living space. But it shouldn't be. Whether it is storage for Christmas decorations,  clothing or cleaning supplies, extra storage space is something that should never be  overlooked. Some potential tenants may not even be able to picture themselves in your unit until they see there is room for all their belongings.

Parking

Whether your property is located in the downtown core or out in the suburbs, providing parking for your tenants is a must.  A minimum of one parking space per unit is what most by-laws require, but the more space you can provide the more appealing your property becomes to potential tenants.
